ok, so i was requested by a fellow TRS member that i should just start a build thread and just stick with that,
so here it is..

you know my orange and black 88 2.9 2wd 5speed ranger and my plans for it..
So today i was at a scrapyard and went on a scavenger hunt for a ranger,
I found one, and got a ranger badge for the fender off of a Gen 2..Also scored a old Ford symbol, its all silver and have the letters in it, I'm not sure if its rare or not, but Ill show a pic tomorrow hopefully..

Also while I was out there, I scored a Sylinoid for a 95 F-150, its a new one that the owner put in and then he jus scraped the truck,

Also on my way out there (this place is 45 minutes away), I stopped in a local car shop called Canadian Tire, they have a great store, and I ordered a brand new starter :yahoo: the rangers first ever brand new part :icon_cheers:

Well Ill let you guys know when my parts get here, thanks alot for looking.

most recent snaps:

Also I plan to put a leveling kit on it starting Monday..Keep in touch:beer:

actually im not too sure, I was planning on painting them all black with a thin orange strip out around, and the lugs orange, and then after the leveling kit and maybe some rear spacers i will probably get some 32" boots

That would look pretty cool if you did it right. Just make sure you paint them, it would make the wheels look a lot better.

Haha thanks. It's amazing what black rims and a little bigger tires can do to an old truck. This is actually my 3rd RBV.. I had a '94 Mazda B2300 with 300,000 miles, then I got a '96 3.0 4x4 Ranger, then I got my Mazda. I love the trucks, I used to regret not getting a bigger truck, but now with gas prices the way they are, I'm glad I got another Ranger!

well. he said since the engine is brand new, probably $400, depends who buys it,
front fenders are rusted out they will probably be garbage unless there going to put trimmed.
2 good doors probably $35 each, or around $60 for both
rear D35, not a clue how much they go for? driveshaft also dont know?
bed probably $100
bed liner seperate probaly $30 or $120 with the bed
probably keep the tires/rims
dont know how much the front driveshaft is either..
fuel pump $5
mint 4X4 emblems, $10 for both
mint B2600i emblems. $12 for both
probably find other goodies along the way..

and yes i am a high pricer but i need the money
