Yeah, the cushion doesn't bother me as much as the perfectly placed steel lumbar bar in the back.

I'm about ready to spring for new seats. All the salvage yards here have well-worn cracked desert cruchy specials.

I gave this thread a new title.

I'm just wondering what type/make protective seat covers y'all are using?

since I can't really afford to do anything else but need something on the driver's seat, I thought I'd ask the jury!

I remember when seat covers were not worth even buying, the fabric was so bad they literally fell apart within a week.

they still do. I bought a new Sonata for my wife 9 months ago, and fitted it with Steering wheel cover, weather tech floor mats, and the best seat covers I could find. The seat covers have gone to shit. looks like a 30 year old interior of a brand new car. Cheaply built, threads made of spider webs, weak as fcuk. they don't make good aftermarket seat covers.
