I was planning on flipping my shackles on my 95 ranger and the guy I bought it from has 4wd shackles so my question is are the 4wd shackle longer than the 2wd ones and if so will I have room to flip them without hitting the box thank you

For your gen 3 Ranger, 2wd = 4wd (same). Ford part is # 5776.

Uh what? Are you referring to the from leaf spring hangar? The one that is riveted in place?

Or are you talking about the rear leaf spring hanger? That one you can flip.

You didn't weld the shackle, did you? I think you're meaning that you flipped the rear hanger, bolted one hole, and welded the rest of the hanger on the frame. You then reinstalled the stock shakle above and behind the hanger, correct?

This is to avoid confusion in our threads, in case someone has not looked up the numerous other articles related to this.

Yes I am referencing the one that was riveted lol sorry the holes didn't line up for me so the front two holes on the bracket are now bolted to the two holes on the rear part of the frame and the back two holes on the bracket assembly I welded on with a couple spot welds I can get some pics up when I get a chance to kind of clear things up bud
