I just bought a 98 Ranger and only the lights on the right side of my gauges are working? Any thoughts why only one side is working? Is it an easy fix?

The instrument cluster is made up of three parts. I don't know where this leads you, but sounds like the right side or third of gauges is only working. There are 3 or 4 plugs on the back maybe a plug issue. All of the lights out seems a little unusual.
