94 mazda b3000 5 speed to 5.0 5 speed efi wiring help

Ok I have a 94 b3000 5 speed and a 88 f150 5.0 5 speed efi. Ive never done efi on any swaps so this is a first.I want to keep the 88 eec and harness and put it in the mazda but dont know where to begin. Any help is very much appreciated.

Several threads about V8 conversions, mechanical and electrical.

There is also one about 5.0l EFI wiring.

The '94 and '88 should have the same "type" of computer, an EEC-IV 60 pin.
You will be removing the current engine wiring and computer, and installing the new V8 engine wiring and computer.

There will be some power wires that will need to be changed depending on how much of the '88 system you are bring over.

These computers just ran the EFI so really only interfaced with engine wiring.
The computers did need wires from distributor but that should be part of engine wiring harness.
