Dude, congrats. Nice find, and I would definitely be all over that for $1300. Really good, IMO.

On another note, I don't think it's cool at all if you fix the MAF in front of him. Honestly, that's kind of a dick move to do it in his driveway. He sold it to you, go down the street to the gas station, and THEN do it if your home is too far away.

From one car guy to another, it's an a$$hole move saying, "Look! I know more than you do, and it's a 2 minutes job! Ha! In your face!" Gloating is immature, especially if you happened to find the solution on a dedicated Ranger website and found a carb cleaner trick.

Now, one to the hesitation and bogging, it could be the MAF or the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC). That has three 10mm bolts on it...clean it with brake cleaner, and that will do wonders for your truck as well.

How did the alignment and suspension look & feel?
