Guysim mating a c4 to the BW 1350 and need he correct input shaft length to order the adapter from advance adapters. It's says take the measurement from the back of the engine block to the front of the tcase mating surface and subtract 17", the length of the c4. Isn't this merely the length of the a4ld transmission that was in there?

I don't have the transmission anymore, but the a4ld is 28.5 inches long. If I subtract 17 I get 11.5" which is the length of one of the 3 input shafts they offer. Does this sound correct to you??? Thanks

Ok guys, so for anyone mating a c4 to their Borg Warner 1350, you just measure the length of the transmission and subtract it from 17", the length of the c4. That gives you the correct input shaft length you'll need. I was merely over-complicating things.
