This for a. 98 Nissan Altima. The car calls for the 205's but I have 4 brand new toyo M&S that are 185/65/15. Would they fit on the rims and be drivable on the car. TIA

My credo
If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning.
185/65R15 = 24.47" tall
824.25 revolutions per mile

205/60R15 = 24.69" tall
817.02 revolutions per mile

So a little less than a 1/4" difference in overall diameter between the tires.

Over the course of a mile, the smaller tire will have turned roughly 7 more times around than the normal tire.

Driveable? Definately.

The only draw back (if you can call it that) is a mild (and I mean MILD) decrease in speed. The car will be traveling juuuust slightly slower than whats on the speedometer. Probably not even noticeable actually.

If the 185's are for 15" rims then do it up.

The sectional width is pretty significantly different. Depending on the rim, you might not be able to. It's worth a shot though.
