Never heard or seen such a thing before, I found this in a '92 at the JY. Talked to a friend and he said his dad's 92 had them too.

Anyone know when they started and when they ended? Pretty cool idea, says "for emergency use only" on the bottom left corner. It is the size of a credit card.

That's really cool, i never knew they made them for rangers. My dad had a 92 Cadillac De Ville thats had one of those, and i thought it was the neatest thing.

I had them for my '92 as well.

Yes, emergency only because they would only work a few times.

My '94 came with a key like that too (just one key though) but it wasn't cut (Ford wanted extra $$$ to cut the key). I passed on it.

It makes sense they are cut to order, for some reason I was thinking they had been made to fit each truck at the factory.

1992 seems to be a popular year for them :D
