The rear driveshaft bolts where the D-shaft mount to the T-case (If a 4x4) or the rear axle are 12mm 12point I recommend an 1/2" drive impact socket for these.
The front driveshaft on most is a T-30 torx inside a 7/16" hex head that you cannog get a wrench onto the external hex at the front axle end and an 8mm 12-point at the T-case end of the front drive shaft. hardware supply.
The bolts you want for this location are a "Ferry Cap Screw" 1/4"- 28 thread, 3/4" long
They cost about $0.75 each last time I bought them and you then have no more issues with the internal torx twisting out. but you will need a trip to Sears for a 1/4" 12pt socket to install and remove them (I keep a spare set of front driveshaft bolts in a plastic "Film can" in my glovebox, along with a 1/4" 12pt socket

There are some rare early Rangers 1987-89 that had the "High Rider" package with a similar "Double cardan" joint at the T-case end of the front drive shaft and these use a smaller headed bolt that has a 1/4" 12point head
I personally recommend replacing the 7/16" head T-30 internal torx bolts on the front diff
with something you can buy from your local Fastenal
