I have a 1990 Ford Bronco II with the 2.9 and A4LD. I had a similiar problem with the 1986 Bronco II I sold where the wires to the coil were bad so it woud stutter and die when you went to move. I just replaced the fuel filter on the 1990, but it has still been acting up. It will run perfect for 5-10 minutes and the just die out. I have a fuel pressure tester which showed that it would all the sudden slowly lose fuel pressure. I would like to get this fixed before I drop my tank. It seemed to be fine before, but I did not get to drive it much. It only has one fuel pump in the tank and the fuel lines are fine. What do you think?

Could be the pump itself getting hot for some reason(worn out) and shutting down. Could also be that the fuel pressure regulator is trying to go bad . Check the vacuum line going to the regulator also. May have a small vacuum leak or not hooked up correctly or something like that.

Driver side on the fuel rail right next to the fire wall. It is held on by 2 bolts. has an o ring where it goes into the fuel rail, a small vacuum line in the back and a fuel line on front.
