A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Just ordered a slew of front-end related bushings from Rock Auto, and, due to the consensus here on TRS, I went with Moog brand.

On duh Rock website the Moog "thermoplastic" bushings appear light blue, in reality they are a very dark blue. No biggie, photo artifacts, monitor settings, yadda-yadda, OK...

BUT... while most of the bushings do say "Moog" and "Made in USA", the front (anti-)sway bar bushings say 'RAMCOA' and "Made in USA", but came in a 'Moog' box... is RAMCOA Yet Another division of the ever-growing conglomerate/cartel known as 'Federal-Mogul Corporation', er whut???? :icon_confused:

Thanks in advance.

I don't believe they are part of Federal Mogul. RAMCOA makes suspension parts for several other brands as well. I know I've bought Duralast end links that said RAMCOA USA as well. I figured the most important part was the USA.

Yep, I called Rock Auto, and their story is RAMCOA is an official sub-contractor of Moog, ergo the Moog box and Moog part #K80080... said they've never had any returned for quality issues. Price was way right so I'll slam them under the frame and see if my ride improves.

Federal-Mogul IS taking over though... ANCO wiper blades, Fel-Pro gaskets, Moog suspension and steering parts, Speed-Pro, etc.

Just looked at some radius arm bushings I have that say Ramcoa as well. They are packaged in a Duralast box. Funny thing is, Big O refused to put them on my Ranger because they only use Moog. But the manufacturer of my bushings is good enough for Moog. Lol.

Sent while I should be doing something else
