I have searched and havent found an answer to this question. Does anyone know if a gauge cluster with tach out of a 94 exploder will fit in a 93 ranger that doesnt have a tach and if so is it plug and play? Thanks in advance!!

It should be, I believe '92.5 to '94 are all the same.

You can take your original speedometer out of the stock cluster and put it in your new cluster as well, just take the screen off (like 6 screws) then pry the outer gauges out (pry on the black plates around the perimeter), it's simple.

Hardest part of this swap is getting behind the cluster to disconnect the speedo cable, I don't know about the auto indicator as I haven't screwed with one of those.

My credo
RoHS compliant
It will bolt in and the wires will plug up but they are not wired the same. There is info out there on how to rewire to make it work but it is much simpler to find a Ranger gauge cluster with tach and swap them.
