Ok i guess i should tell the whole story first. I wanted a mustang type rim for my ranger and i found some that i liked and purchased them at summit racing along with some high performance tires as well. I knew when i put these rims the offset was wrong and backspacing was not the same as the stock rims for a ranger. The offset seems like it is not really a problem i just had to get bigger wheel studs for the rims to fit. Summit did tell me i would need wheel spacers but i have drove the truck without them and doesnt seem to need them at all. The backspacing is fine i have check and i have clearance everywhere around the rim. My problem has been that i have problems shaking/vibrations from my wheels or tires ( not sure). KEEP IN MIND ALL OF THIS STUFF IS BRAND NEW MAYBE 500 MILES ON BOTH NEW RIMS AND TIRES summer driven only(in 2006 that is havent driven it since until just today.). Now i have got them road forced tested and the first time the shop (terry tire town if you have heard of them) told be 2 out of the 4 TIRES were bad. OK I had warrentys on everything so i was going to get new tires then the manger told me at the same shop that the rims had movement in them and it wasnt the tires. Now just the other day his workers told me it was the tires?? So i had the rims tested at summit racing for rim movement and there was none! They gave me print outs and took them back to originally shop and then he tested them agian and said that there was movemt in the rim because was bent( like from a pot hole supposely??) So i pretty said screw them beucase i havent even drove the truck all that much and i am VERY careful when i drive this truck . Anyways i went and got the tires rebalanced that were supposed to be bad from a different place Origginaly was (terry tire town) and the tires and rims seem to be working fine no shaking!!! I am using a open ended lug nut with an offset washer ( i wasnt using the washer when it wasnt shaking) I decided to use the washers cause i found out i was supposed to be using them and when i did i have shaking agian?? Now the only thing i can think of now is that the rims call for Conical seat - 60 degree lug nuts which i am not using could this be my problem?? Also it seems the lug nuts are coming lose somewhat too ( should i use socket and titen then of air gun ??
here is what i am using
