Long story short, a/c system is leaking. I injected 1/2 ounce of dye into system last week....... Searched last night for 2 hours with black light, only spot I can see a small trace is on low pressure port, under soap and water no bubbles there.

I'm 99% sure I have a evap coil issue, but I like to see the problem before I go swapping parts:icon_twisted:

So can I inspect evap coil with removal of fan motor? or any other slick ideas on how to verify that the evap coil is the cause of my problems?

Thanks

You should be able to inspect a good portion of the fan-side of the evap coil with the fan removed, but not the other side that is toward the outlet.

If you do find oil and UV dye in the bottom of the evap housing, then for sure you got a good case to pull it out for further inspection.
