I drive a 2007 Ford Ranger sport 4x4. I'm having a problem with the driver side front axle. The repairs are quite expensive. My question is this; If I remove the drive axle, is my truck drive able?

Remove the front axle? No, can't drive with out an axle, id you mean front drive shaft, then yes, I drove my 4x4 without front drive shaft in 2wd mode without issue for six months without issue, but I don't necessarily recommend it

Thanks Eric! That's what I meant. Since my ranger my only means of tranportation, this will give me time to save $$$ for repairs.

Lol, no worries. Just curious, but what on the driver side is having issues?

Sounds like an interesting plan, it will certainly put a few miles on the truck. How long do you plan on it taking you?
