I'm sure this has probably been covered or at least something very similar has been covered especially since we're talking about a 5.0. I have access to a 1994 F-150 XLT RWD with a 5.0 V8 that I wanted to put into my 2000 Ranger XLT 4WD with the 3.0 BUT I want to keep the factory 4WD that the Ranger comes with. So my question simply is can I just bolt up the 5.0 to my Ranger's factory transmission? I think it is the 4R44E automatic trans. but I haven't looked to figure that out yet. The F-150 is also an automatic by the way.

Welcome to TRS.
The 3.0 and the 5.0 don't have the same transmission bolt patterns, so they will NOT match.
