Nice seein you making some headway on the truck yourself there brotha . Thanks guys .

So lately I've been doin a lot of reading on trying to add a lil more angle to the ranger . But with me having a beam setup, There's not much out there for info on rangers doing what I do . So I ventured off into Google land and looked at other fords with boxs and see what splines and lengths they have . Well ford either has a 32 spline or a 36 spline box in most the truck chassis . I found a 2000 f250 pitman arm that is 1..25 inches longer in a 32 spline I'm going to test . Should get a few more degrees of steering angle for it and maybe a faster turning response

Speedway motors has universal pitman arms that will work. Ill have to look up the part number if your interested. But the Ford steering box is a tapered/splined shaft not just splined. I did one when i swapped to a manual box. but it will be a different spline manual or power. im not sure the exact spline for the power steering box, you could give them a call and they could point you in the right direction.

I'm going to go to the jy and get me a couple pitman arms to test and take reference for others . Also my lower caliper bolt (95-97 knuckle, brake swap ) is hitting the ibeam at full lock now so going to trim down the bolt and and notch the beam a lil . I doing this just to say you can get sideways with a box setup just as much as rack&pinion . If I gotta fab to get there it's cheaper the buying a frame with rack and control arms . Which is a future down the road mod . I'll swap frames and use my cab and front since I favor the 93-97 front ends looks wise . Just Ol'skool in that aspect

Met my wife and kids for dinner last night after work . Had to grab a pick of beauty and the beast

Gotcha, can relate I'd like to do a arm swap but since I'm just doinG it for fun I'll stick with the box for now. Also like the old school look better....why do you think I'm doing my v8 swap to an 88

Well started building a hydro brake set for the rear . Made it out off some spare stuff laying around the shop . So so far I got $0.00 into it lol . Wanted to make something heavy duty to withstand some beating. And anything on line that's worth it is way out of my mental budget for something that can easily be made . The master is a Honda clutch master with built in reservoir
