hey buys, i pulled the starter out of my truck over a month ago, and im just getting to putting it back in today.

and i got everything together except the actualy installation into the truck.

there are two wires, red and black, to the starter motor. im assuming one is power and one is ground, but for the life of my i cant remember which wire goes where on the starter motor. if anyone could tell me which terminal is which, it would get me going again.

thanks..

That's odd, usually the starter gets ground from the engine being grounded. Are you sure that ground wire doesn't connect to the engine, then the red wire from the solenoid to the starter terminal? The black wire is an actual thick ground wire, right?

On a 93, that's probably a constant power lead plus the switched wire to trip the relay.
