Yesterday went to start up the Bronco and and everything was normal. But as I gave it some throttle it started running like it was on 3 pistons. So I went to take the computer codes but it wont send them to the scanner. It shows it's connected but after a good 5 minutes still no codes,(KOEO). Where can I get the EEC computer tested so I can see if that's the problem. The fuel system is at 40 psi (KOEO) and 32 psi at idle.

Check timing. If it's not advancing properly it will act like its missing on two or three cylinders.

I found the problem, the middle wire on the remote TFI wiring harness popped out at the distribitor.

which would roughly cause a lack of timing advance. :yahoo::yahoo:

Congrats on finding it.

I reworked the harness I got at the jyard. You might want to look at the male blades connectors at the dist. Make sure that they fit tight and are even in lenth.I found out by moving the harness to much it poped out the middle wire.Good luck

If you think it is the computer and cant pull the codes go to the bone yard and get another computer and see it you have the same problem. Even if the j-yard comp is bad the chances are slim they will have the same issues. I it stays the same you more than likely have two good computers. Your fault is elsewhere wiring, connector, dizzy pickup or TFI put it on a timing light and see how it responds to the foot feed.
