Works okay for small one off parts. I really want a bigger and more accurate one though.

I also stubbed the chuck connector out on the drivers side behind the tire. Not sure how I will like it there.

I am in a bit of a time crunch as I am getting ready to head to the dusy ershim trail next week. Trying to get a bunch of things ready.
5 bucks says you hit it

Man, my old club out of San Diego runs the Dusy every year. When I get back out there, I gotta run it

That picture makes it look like it sticks out farther then it does. It is only 1" off the frame and about an inch below the bed floor. It would be a tough spot to get hit. I am more worried about dirt and mud from the tire making a mess of it. If it becomes a problem I can move it.

What club were you in? My last trip to Dusy was 2003. A friend of mine was up there last week clearing the trail with the Forest Service. Says Thompson Hill is the roughest he has seen it. Should be a fun trip.

It was a nice 106 in the garage today. I assembled and installed my new Yukon shafts for the front axle. I have broke I think 5 front stock shafts (inner, outer and ujoint each time) so it was time to upgrade.

I also added a fuse panel under the hood. Not real impressed with it but for $9.00 what do you expect. It should work for a while. Where is the best place to get a keyed hot lead from? I will run it off a relay so what ever circuit it is on wont see a ton of extra power.

possibly the hot side of the starter solenoid? I can't remember which side that is, but I think it has a constant hot when the key is on.

As for the club, its called 4x4Corps. Bunch of Marines and Sailors who drive Jeeps.

Lastly, did you go with Super Joints? The weakest part of the factory front axles are the U-joints. the super joint is incredible. It is what I run in my Explorer on 40s with a 44 and ask anyone who has wheeled with me, I flog the shit out of it. Only thing that I have done is break a cap, which they sell replacements.

If you want more info on them, let me know. I'm a Yukon dealer. Just message me

Just running the Spicer joints for now. Spent enough money on a few different things so I will have to get better ujoints later. PM me a price on them so I know how much I need to save up.

I tried the OX version of the super joint....still turned them into a pile of shrapnel....but they did hold up to some serious abuse for about 40 hrs of nasty double low wheeling on a spooled axle.

I don't drive it like a rock bouncer, but I am not afraid to get the tires smoking when need-be. Mine were installed in 2008 and the cap held all the way until 2012. I'm running a detroit up front

The doubler, spool, and bead locks is like a death sentence to any U-Joint/shaft....curious how the RCVs will hold up. I dropped from 4.10 to 5.13 as well, so this will be the ultimate test.lol

I still have a pile of OX parts that OX said they would warranty if I sent them back.

Just got home from 5 days on the Dusy Ershim trail. Fun trip but if you aren't locked front and rear on 35"s it would be miserable. I ended up breaking an exhaust hanger wich caused the muffler to break. Time for a new exhaust...

Man I'm jealous! I was at Courtwright today. Went up to check my trail cameras. They weren't bitting at Courtwright so now I'm fishing at Shaver.

How'd your rig do? Anything you want to change yet?
