so I keep having the problem off leaving my key in the ignition or lights on because the warning chime doesn't come on. When I open the door or turn the ignition on I can hear it though. I'm thinking maybe someone disabled it? I read that it's located behind the radio on the left but I took all that apart and couldnt find it. It seems the sound comes from the instrument cluster but for the life of my I cant find it. Any ideas of what to look for? I figure either the previous owner cut the wire or maybe a fuse blew?

my dome light chime has recently stopped working
I am reading this could be due to the door ajar switch being located inside the handle.
Well recently my key hole was being stubborn and I put a sprayed a wd40 into the keyhole area
could this have caused issues within the wiring?

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.

Wd40 is non-conductive, so.. probably not?

Electricity is all witchcraft to me though so.. grain of salt.
