Does anybody have any clue as to if the K member and suspension from say a 99-04 mustang gt will bolt up into a ranger or Mazda b3000. Doing a 4.6 swap soon. all info will be greatly appreciated.

thanks. Do you happen to know if they have motor mounts or trans mounts available for a swap like this?

You may be able to get some 5.0 mounts that would work.

I am not sure of the parts or years involved, what I do know is that one of my college professors had a 72 Mustang that he put a 4.6 in and used 5.0 Mustang mounts.

Thanks. I can get my hands on an 01 complete mustang. Or I can get my hands a complete 04 f150 drivetrain.

Going to do a Complete radiator to rear end swap. Should be interesting. And these Lil trucks actually weigh about 200lbs less than the mustangs. Should be pretty interesting.

I wouldn't mess with the rear axle. Not much stronger than what you have and way wider. For brakes (if you don't opt for an Explorer 31 spline 8.8 with factory discs, much stronger/better fitting and fairly common with limited slip) check out this:

http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/ford_ranger_rear_disc_brake_conversion.shtml

If you look back like around 2011 or 2012 there was a guy that did put a 2V 4.6 into his later model truck.

Sorry, I didn't mean to edit your post. I am new at this mod thing and the edit button for everyone's posts is where I am used to hitting quote.
