Almost done with my 4wd swap, just a few odds and ends left. One of them being running the wiring for the transfercase. I already have the plug for the interior buttons ready to go, but where does the plug for the transfercase go? Instead of trying to run it under the carpet in my 2wd, i would rather just cut the wires for it on both ends in the 4wd truck, and run my own wiring thru the firewall, under the body, and to the tc. obviously i've located the tc end of the cable, but where does the other end go? :dunno:

Eventually it goes to the transfer controller under the dash and on up to the control panel.

I'm trying to get that wiring out now to clean up for a manual swap and it's all stuffed behind the defroster plenum.

You have the buttons, the motor, and the module, and all the wiring in between that will need to be installed.

I haven't found wiring under the carpet, just in the headliner and dash so far. It will be interesting to see where it all goes.

Good luck, I'll fill in more as I go along.

Took me while but I have removed all electric transfer wiring with one cut wire being a ground I couldn't reach.

I have an electronic roof console, complete wiring and transfer case controller if you are interested. The only other thing missing is the body plug, I put it back to seal the hole.
This loom is from an xcab so you could run it through the firewall.

Cheers
Rich
