Ok. Doin everything im supposed to do. Still not workin. followed all the instructions on the video/photo post thread too. ANYWAY its the line on the top of the fuel pump thats pointed straight to the tailgate. The hose itself is ran under the frame and is pretty much 90º kinked seeming like its just completely closed off. Looked at the old pump and the other line just runs all the way down to the bottom of the tank (by the tank filter) and has a plug on it.SSeems pretty moot.

Looks normal for a hack job.

Looks like someone broke the clips off the plug and used wire to hold it down. The return line is kinked and will probably cause some issue as well potential for a leak after it fatigues a bit. The hose clamp on the pressure line is going to leak before too long.....looks pretty sketch to me.

I think there is supposed to be a 90* quick connect on the rear

Well that was my doing, using the stainless tig rod to hold it down. Tried to very gently ease that connector off (the clips on anything always seem to break on me no matter how gentle I am with them) and the cab side pretty much just fell off. So the 90º kinked line is the return. Good to know. Like I said I looked all over and couldnt find any info. Is it a huge deal that the return line is kinked like that? Was going to either saw off one of the ribs or drill a hole in the frame so it connects "straighter." Thank you btw for checkin this out at 5 in the morn. I work 2nd shift cuz of the night owl frame of mind

This is a Super cab, so the cross member is further back, but the connectors are the same as what yours should be.

Loosen the lock ring and move/rotate the pump a little so you don't kink the return line...gas has to get back to the tank...kinks are no bueno senoro.

be carefull of routing any of the lines through a hole in the frame or any where else wehre they can rub against another part of the truck, eventually it will rub through the hose due to the vibrations on the road

You can't...the there is a tab/key to keep it from doing just that.

I was more interested in seeing if you finally were able to post that picture...:)

Anyway...as an aside...did you fab up that front bumper or was it on the truck when you got it?

I'm looking for a front bumper for my 96 frame and i have the stock one from a 92...but it doesn't fit...so looking for other options...
