im working on my 5.0 swap and ive got a 302 from a 91 grand marque and i want to put a 5speed zf which i already have on it what flywheel would i need to bolt up cause ive tried a couple already from some other 302's and they just dont match up 2 bolts are always off by a little bit

You need a 50 oz/in wheel. As for the bolt pattern, all small block Fords have the same pattern. The holes aren't drilled the same distance apart, all the holes only line up one way, that's how the counterweight is indexed to the crank. Turn the wheel till all holes line up.

i got it figured out i was using the automatic one to match up to some at the junk yard cause he had a school bus full of them and didn't charge me for one i was just matching them up with them facing the wrong way so they never matched so i switched it around now its all good kinda a dumb mistake on my part i just wasn't thinking it would matter that much but i guess it did

i just did that exact same swap, i got my flywheel at napa for about 90 bucks, and it acually looked good for a napa one. 50oz 164 tooth is what you need
