If by "bitchin" you mean "warps easily then yes, the 3.8 heads were "bitchin". That was easily one of Ford's worst engines.I always wanted to try a 3.8 V6 in a ranger. They had some bitchin heads on those things. A shame they never made a V8 version
You'd have to swap out the rotor, but I mean, yeah, you probably can.I heard somewhere you could do that with the Mazda rotories. Never been around one to confirm.
I heard they were an attempt at reverse engineering the Chevy 3.8, but that they screwed the pooch and made a steaming pile on the floor.They are just a 302 with 2 cylinders cut off.
