F150 302 trans and transfer?

I've got a 1991 F150 302 auto (code T) 4wd sitting in my yard, I've also got my ranger that has a 4.0 4wd that's got 245k miles hooked up to a 3 speed (2nd and 4th blew out) 5in lift (I think?) on 35s and F150 axle (from the 91)

I need help on figuring out what I need to get the 302 in the ranger, I read the v8 swap write up but none of it seems to deal With the AOD or F150 5.0 only mustang parts. And whether or not it would be easier to swap the t-case at the same time or just run the ranger t-case.

I used the driveshaft from a 2000 Ranger to eliminate the rear 2 piece shaft.Mine is 4x4 so the front shaft had to be shortened a couple inches for my NP 205 transfer case. Yours will depend on how the engine is mounted which will affect where the transmission ends up.

When I tried to use the Transfer case out of the 150 I was using, we could never get it to fit inside the frame square (and the front driveshaft wouldnt clear the radius arms). I used the C-6 and a Advance Adapters, adapter to go with a Dana 20. It doesnt mean they dont work. A lot of people here use them. Search the V-8 swap forum and you should find the answer your looking for.
