How high of a compression ratio can you use, if you are going to run E85 with a turbo? I'm thinking it can be fairly high, but don't really know.

e85 = 100-105 octane.
you could run 11-12 to 1 compression, depending on cam selection.
for racing conditions maybe as high as 12.5:1
i've been checking into this for a 4.6L modular v8 build. for a '56' f-100.
so far the 3.9 cummins is the favorite for the truck, due to cost of building the 4.6L engine, and the ability to not need to use engine control computers, with the diesel.
