I found this listing on Facebook, today.

I thought the new Ranger wasn't coming out until 2019?

The seller lists the odometer in miles (in Canada we use kilometers). I'm tempted to message the seller and ask him to send me the VIN. I'm pretty sure this isn't a North American Ranger.

Wildtrak. That's (obviously) the global Ranger.

I figured that out when I took a closer look and saw that it was RHD. But, I haven't followed the discussion of the new Ranger, so as far as I know, WildTrak could be an available model in Canada, except that, as I noted in my original post, as far as I knew the new Ranger wasn't due until next year. Do you see why I was confused?

I need to figure out what the difference is between the Wildtrak and base model 4x4.

From Wikipedia:

In certain global markets, including Australia, Ford released the Ford Ranger Wildtrak as a special edition of the Ranger. Based on the four-wheel drive crew-cab, the Wildtrak was equipped with a 3.2L Duratorq diesel engine with a manual or automatic transmission. To visually distinguish the model, the Wildtrak was equipped with a model-specific grille (painted dark grey), model-specific 18-inch wheels, and other exterior and interior trim. Marketed in a colour exclusive to the trim (Pride Orange), the Wildtrak was also offered in several other colours.
It would seem to me that it would be equivalent to our Ranger Edge, FX4, and splash. It takes the 4x4 crew cab, and adds a few extra options
