My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I'll be watching. I would like to do a 4bt swap some day if I ever find one reasonably priced.

Yeah the 4bts certainly aren't getting any cheaper.

Is there a clutch master cylinder upgrade for the rangers? My clutch has always released very near the floor and it has been that way ever since I got the truck 11 years ago. Seems like it only moves just enough fluid to disengage the clutch.

I heard someone mention that there is a higher volume master cylinder that is a direct swap... don't know if that is true but if it is it would be nice to go on and replace it while I have the motor out and before the 4bt goes in.

any ideas?

Air in the system is the reason for your low pedal issue. The whole assembly has to be bench bled to get all of the air out.
