A guy on Craigslist has a 87 Ranger with about 3.5" suspension lift so I'm wondering if the kit will fit my 90 BII ? I know the 87 Ranger should have a Dana 28 but my 90 BII has a D35. Just wondering if the drop bracket and all will interchange.

Why do the manufactures split up the models and years in different kits then ?

Should I get all of the parts I can grab ? You know, like the drive shaft, Radius Arms, Camber Bushings and Steering Bars ?

Thanks for the reply

I just put mine in, and it was for a ranger, rough country shows 2 differnt part numbers for a b2/ranger, I called costomer service and he told me the only difference is the u-bolts, ranger kits the u-bolts are longer,

WAIT! Don't the D28 drop brackets cause interference with the D35 leading to a broken case? Of course this is brand dependent.

That is only with the lower end lifts that use a drop plate for the bracket for the passenger side beam.

It's not 28 brackets that cause the issue... It's just the cheaper kits all together. However I don't think the RC coils will flex enough to hurt anything lol

The RC coils are stiff and I haven't had an issue with interference on my 35.

Can someone post pictures of the different styles. All the pictures I've been able to find look about the same. Which one is the plate style and which one is the other style. Whats the correct name for the non-plate version ?
