The door profile is different, but the outer "shell" with the puddle light and heat will clip onto the Ranger door backet.

I have puddle light Exploder outer shells on my old Ranger power mirror door brackets.

Also you have to use the power mirror motors from a puddlelight mirror because they are smaller to make room for the puddlelight socket.

That is really awesome Plum. I dig that!
Thanks. I still want to add heated mirrors, but with the turn signal I am not sure if I can.

I tapped into the door switches. Mine only come on when the door is open. Not with the dome.

The switches in the door latch that let trigger the dome light/door ajar light when the door is open.

Look for a Volvo timer relay 9148300....89 8756 000
0-12 min Factory set to 10 minutes I think.
Fits in a standard 5 pin relay socket.
Momentary switch triggers the relay and it automatically shuts off in ten minutes. I'm going to wire it to the rear defogger switch in the Explorer radio bezel I put in my 03 Edge. I bought the bare heating elements off fleabay and I am taking apart my mirrors and glueing the elements to the original glass. I have a Volvo schematic saved here somewhere. Item 2/44 is the timer relay. Item 3/8 is the momentary switch with an led indicator.
