I suggest getting drop shackles like these instead of blocks if you are only going a couple inches. You can get them at Autozone.

i like the blocks more than the shackles. the shackles seem to straighten out the leafs more and wear them down over time... maybe i'm ignorant lol. but i like my blocks.

just be careful with add a leafs, b/c it will get STIFF... (that was free) i know you mentioned nothing about aal's

I have 2" blocks, Explorer springs and Belltech 6400 shackles in my B2. Got about 6" of lift out of all that. No complaints besides a very stiff ride.

i have 3" blocks and 2.5" add a leafs. other than a stiff ride from the aal's it puts me at a good height. clears 33's and with my trimmed fenders i have room for 35's.

How much lift do you want? You can get an inch or two from coil spacers, anything higher, you'd need drop brackets.

with either blocks or shackles, and leveling springs in the front, a two inch body lift, and trimmed fenders, would that setup clear 33's?

yeah, i have the RC 4 inch lift... and i wanna know how to get a lil more to make 33's fix. but yeah, back to the OP lol... you can get front drop brackets in the for sale part of this site probably.... i'd suggest getting skyjacker or something, not RC... b/c of the drop plate
