i have a 1988 bc im getting ready to put my 4.0 in ,i have the wiring loom from a
1994 along with computer and all motor neccesarys. i have 2 a4ld from a 1988
and a 1991 will these work they both are dual cylonoid although im told the 1991 is stronger due to upgrades in trans. also what year did over drive on explorer go to push button on colum shift

It was after 94 on the push button OD. The only difference in the two you have are inside. The newer one has more steel and friction in the cluth packs or something like that. I've abused the hell out of mine. It's from a 92.
