i checked the tech library but didnt see what i was looking. i got a 97 ranger with a 5.8 and a t-5. looks like the previous owner put sn95 mustang seats in there now. my problem is that i have a regular cab and the seats will not go back any further because they are too big. and the shifter also rubs the drivers seat when in 1st gear. are there any small donor cars at the junkyard i might be able to pull some seats from that someone might know of? i was thinking maybe a focus. looking for any help. thanks

look into getting some chevy cavalier/sunfire seats..will need some modifications but will work fine. You could also go and get some leather explorer bucket seats from the same year and they will bolt in quite well. They also make the buckets in cloth as well..basically if you have the time to do any modifications, any small seat would fit.

I would at all costs avoid the cavalier seats, good luck finding a used set that are not worn out!!
Dont mind those cars, had 3 of the pre- 95 units, quite tough, but their seats SUCKED!!
