Rebuilding my engine in my explorer and want to replace the spark plugs and wires and wanted to know which brand of spark plug wires would suit me best. Just going to be for everyday driving and will be going back to Kansas for school in 2 months? I also want to replace my spark plug, and was told that bosch and any other foreign spark plugs aren't best in my truck.... so I was given autolite. Is this correct... some info on the subject would be greatly appreciated thanx.

Autolite is good. Motorcraft is better.

I'll use Autolite if Motorcraft isn't available. For a Cologne engine (2.8, 2.9 or 4.0) I wouldn't use anything else for plugs.

Bosch does make a good plug wire though. Any of those three for wires is good.
