The heater hose on the remote oil filter adapter was sweating oil. I replaced it with 1/2" fuel line. On the second road test one of the lines popped off dumped the oil. The hot line felt soft to me.

Today I went to NAPA and got the red hose H-1706. Seems stronger and is suppose to be petroleum compatible. Is this good hose?

Also the remote adapters have barbed fittings. Are the large hose clamps sufficient?

Thank you

Not familiar with the napa hose, but as lonv as the hose is rated for hydraulics/ oil, your good to go. Hose clamps are sufficient as the pressure is not that high. The transdapt brand oil filter kit is one of the better kits, and they use push-lok fittings...
