Been awhile since I've posted on this forum (almost 4 years! ).. My 2.8 is still chuggin along. I fabbed an adapter plate from aluminum, and installed a Holley/Weber carb and an old school points style distributor from a Mustang II on mine. Don't know if it's proper, but I run the EGR valve off from ported vacuum, and it seems to work fine. No big powerhouse to be sure, but my 2.8 has proven to be a very dependable performer once I got rid of all the electronic nonsense.. Last edited by swampy; 11-27-2012 at 10:15 PM. Reason: clarity |
