I have a hybrid 28/35 TTB front axle and a 7.5 rear axle (drum brakes). What is the average cost i will pay to get a Dana 35 TTB front and an explorer 8.8 rear w/ disk brakes from a junkyard?

At pull-a-part, probably about 120 for the front and 180 for the rear (since it has brakes included). At a "they pull it" yard, probably a lot more.

A friggin ton to rebuild the front, just the basic steering and brake overhaul is getting scary on mine, about $560 in just parts from Rockauto... and then it has to get aligned too.

I paid $75 for the front and $100 for the rear from private people, gotta bide your time though.

Thanx for the info guys. I have high hopes for my truck and a lot of patience. At least I know how much to save before I start taking it apart.
