That fuse is good. Interestingly enough it is a 7.5 amp fuse in my truck. The truck still starts so main ignition switch fuse should be good :)

I show '95/'96 with 15amp, then '97/'98 with 7.5amp, same location #15, same circuit, Battery Light

Hmm, weird. That shouldn't make a difference tho eh? In terms of circuit completion as long as the fuse ain't blown it shouldn't make a difference...but I can test for voltage at the fuse correct? Its further back in the circuit so maybe there will be voltage there?

Well I get voltage at fuse #15 in the cab...so somewhere between there and the alternator is the problem...anyone know what happens after the fuse box and the plug at the ABS module area?

From fuse #15 it shows a yellow wire going to Battery Light then from other connection on Battery Light, the Light Green/red stripe wire going to alternator

First off, thank you for taking the time to help me with your knowledge! I really appreciate it!

Second..so from the fuse it goes to the light in the dash and then straight to the alt from the light? Which for me does not come on. So likely somewhere in between there is the problem. I guess I will be diggin around in the dash... yay...haha

Side note...so the switching part of the 12V switched must be handled pre fuse panel then eh?

Yes, that #15 fuse gets power when key is turned on.

According to wiring diagram, yes that Yellow wire goes directly to the "battery light" bulb in dash.
Then the Light Green wire goes out of dash to alternator plug
