ok it is a 98 ford taurus 3.0l. if i bypass the high speed cooling fan relay and the A/C clutch relay it will cool 38 to 40 degrees out of vents and pressures are nominal on both the high and low sides.. however a/c will not come on with relays in place and cooling fans cycle with engine temp. i have replaced relays and tested relays in another vehicle and they work. fuses all check good. so as you can see now im stumped.:bawling:

The AC cycling switch, which you jumpered to make it run, is likely defective.

It is replaceable without losing any refrigerant.
Cheap part, easy to replace, pasted below from RockAuto, listed under Electrical, Switch/Relay.

MOTORCRAFT Part # YH1462 {#95BW19E561AA, F6RZ19E561AA} One of our most popular parts
Low Pressure

already replaced the AC cycling switch and have traced problem to the pcm (power-train control module) and will need a new one. pcm is not grounding the a/c clutch relay or the high speed cooling fan relay to activate them thats why a/c won't work i was able to activate a/c by grounding relays (for testing purposes only)
