Differential vent tube leaking fluid

I have a 2011 Ranger XLT 4X4, auto, 4.0 engine. I have recently discovered fluid (diff oil) leaking out of the vent tube that comes out of the rear axle. Two visits to my dealer, tube has been cleaned out and still leaking. Anyone have experienced this? What is the cause and how do I fix it?

Here are a couple things. If the axle fluid gets real heated up it is normal to get a small amount of gear oil out of the tube. The vent tube should be facing up. Double check fluid level.

to prevent Found On the Road Dead, Fix Or Repair Daily
The pumpkin is over filled. Best bet is to drain and remove cover. Fairly easy job. You are looking for water. IF no water is found, the pumpkin was simply over filled. Water is possible if the hose doesnt have a good check valve. If your dealer is simply cleaning out the hose, then he is just shining you on.

If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning.
You could also run a longer vent hose and attach it higher up in the chassis. I ran my vent for the GMC's axle up the flexible brake hose and zip-tied it around the hard line bracket.

If you do pull the cover and change the fluid, be sure to get the fill plug loose FIRST. That has burned me before when I changed the fluid on my old 7.5"
