I am working on my dash setup. I a gen 1 truck. I grabbed a tach needle last time I was at the junk yard. The old needle broke into pieces. I went to put the needle I bought on my tach and found out that the needle hole is bigger that the shaft on the tach. Anybody have this issue? I need to either fix what is broke or put a new one in. ????

Needle out of the same year of truck?[
/QUOTE]

The closest I could get out of the junk yard. I know it in shorter than the older needle. This is killing me, I even the have the dash apart, the white gauge overlays will be here in days. I found a few clusters with the tach on ebay but they are all gold plated and I don't even need most of it.

Well I fixed the problem, I bought one. 57 dollars and all I needed was a needle. I have some gauges out of some other trucks so I will sell those to makeup the money.
