There are some really good trails in that area. Currently I'm still looking for a hub thanks to them lol. Definitely go with someone, unless you have a general idea of the trails you'll get stuck or break lol. There are easier sections that I have seen stock jeeps run on. And wait a few days for the rain to dry up. I have seen many a retard get stuck in the clay mud thinking they'd be cool and go out after the rain.

Also I saw a post about a local ranger group. They are meeting on the 29th somewhere in plano.

Yeah I saw it on here....just don't ask me to find it again. Give it a week or so and I might show you the trinity 360 area. I will only be doing 2x4 stuff for awhile though. I made up my mind to go 1ton after picking up a d60 kingpin hp from a local yard for $125 Hahaha. I love it when junkyards are clueless to what they have.

Definitely going to have to wait for it to dry up for both our sakes. As for a d44 try grandbury, I've searched most of the stuff in fort worth and just happened to trip over that d60 buried in the very back. As for a rear go to dismantlers 2000 in fort worth, $50 you pull axles and they have a few 9".

NICE! ya dude on craigslist has a matching set 44 front 9"rear out of a 78 bronco for $500. but if I can find some in the salvage yard for 50 a pop I'll definately go that route.

is the meet just rangers or is it trucks in general?

Whoa, okay guys. I just saw this thread. LET'S GO!

Seriously, let me know if anyone wants to go out. Email, PM me, repost here...whatever. I've had the itch too...

I'm 4WD open on 35's...and I just hit a bunch of mud. Im fixing my t-case right now, but she'll be up and running in the next couple of weeks.

Bill & Kryptonite, when do you wanna go out? I'll be coming up from Houston, so I need some lead time...

I'm running 2x4 till I get a replacement d35 hub, junkyards have a conspiracy with them. Other than that I'm ready, I know a good place and another guy in the area I keep meaning to show around.

Ha. Good. Sounds like a plan. How about in a few weeks? I'll be free a weekend or two so I have some wiggle room.

So what's the headcount?

1.) Motorbill
2.) Kryptonitecb
3.) AgPete

Sounds good, I haven't been there but heard good things. We should try to figure out what other members are here that get together so we can all be in on this.
