They should bolt in.

I would not judge by that though, I'd get another opinion.

I think they will but you might need to bolt the tracks from the 87 on to the 02 seats.

ok, this is for all of you who responded.... re-read his question. (Odie excluded)

I would recommend that you read someone's question more than once before you reply in the future.

Keon, I would have to tell you to pull you 60/40 off and see if the brackets do fit no problem... and as Odie said, you may have to switch the benches off the old brackets which would require a little bit of fab work.

let us know if this worked... and possibly make an article on seat swapping from one gen to another.

I have the same question as the original poster. Is it possible that no one has done this? If I had a new bench seat, I would give it a shot, but I don't want to have to buy the seat just to be the guinea pig.

No matter what it CAN be done, if you go out and buy the seats, you have to make it work =]. :icon_cheers:

I kinda have the same question, I have a 1989 Ranger regular cab 60/40. Will a 1994 Ranger 60/40 extended cab seat work in my truck?

For what it's worth...........

A bench seat from a '91 reg cab fit right into my '84, all mounting holes lined up just fine.

Does anyone know the latest year that will fit mine? The '91 seat is much nicer, but it is 17 years old.

Anyone ever tried the do it yourself seat rebuild, if so is it worth it ?
