which side is the negative battery terminal and the positive im thinkin the negative is on the left and the positive is on the right it only came with one lol and im jus goin to replace them thanks

thats how mine is. neg on left pos on right. if u have a volt meter u can test the post and make sure.

Not all batteries are the same. Get a volt meter and test it.

Follow the cables. Negative will go to the frame/body and engine block. The positive SHOULD have a cover to help stop a direct short.

yes that makes a huge difference lol. definitely check where ur ground is. when u find ur ground u found which is which. like he said ur ground will obviously be grounded to a good chunk of steel (frame, block)

My neg is on the right. The pos is on the left and runs under a black plastic cover.

You should have two cables, one that is very short and goes directly from the positive side of your battery to the starter solenoid. Then another that is very long and attached to the engine block and possibly the frame as well, that goes to your negative terminal.

thanks guys ill figure it out my bronco 2 only came with one cable and it long and blk lol it goes to the frame but rite behind that cable another cable goes to the starter i think but im still thinkin bout sellin my bronco 2 or jus put the prts and money into not too sure yetbut thanks

lol... the one that goes to the starter is supposed to be connected to the starter solenoid on the fender. There should be another battery cable that goes from the solenoid to the battery.
