Finally got around to installing the 06+ fender flares

Also put the ranger to work this past weekend, my leafs are shot, they arch the wrong way lol

This pic above is with just the sled in the back, it was even worse pulling this trailer

So I see an explorer leaf swap coming in the near future.

Also bought some goodies for the bumper build

These are begging to go on too

dude every time i look at your page it inspires me to do these things to my truck!
I actually just picked up my own set of 2006+ mirrors and am going to paint them and my grill when the weather gets better!
I have an ace up my sleeve coming in the near future that i think you may like, i just need to learn how to wire relays...

Thank you!
You will love the mirrors, look so much better and you can actually see stuff in them

Put the 35s on

Also been working on the bumper, made new mounts and added a hitch receiver, still gotta add the d ring shackles

Was hoping to clean it up a bit before doing an update but it's hard to keep it clean with all the melting snow

looks badass with the 35s (i see you also painted the rims, nice touch!) although im only thinking of putting 33s on mine (currently on 31s)
ive run into a problem though
my dear ranger was backed into and they left (didnt get enough info, insurance will still cover most of work) the problem is that the repair shop CANNOT get ahold of replacement fender flairs for it
with that being said i see you put 2006 pockets on (which look sick) did you have to do any special cutting/drilling? or was it bolt/stick/clip and go?

Thanks! For the 06+ flares on the bottom lip the holes match up, but on the side of the box and side of the front fender they don't match up.

do they show? do you have to do any special drilling to get them to fit?

No the old holes don't show as the 06 flares are taller. You can drill new holes in the side of the box and fender for the clips, but I only fastened it on the down facing lip with self taping screws and it sits very tight against the fenders

Bought a some rubber trim to stop the fender flares from rubbing out the paint

And I think I need a drop hitch now

The 35s tuck in, barely but the do tuck in without issue

I tried to get my flares to go on with some of that rubber trim, but could not get the factory clips to go into the holes.
