hey all my buddie is going to buy this 1993 ranger up on 35s and its got a 3.0l with a 5spd.
My question to you is can we swap in the 4.0l I have setin around?
I have full wiring harness from engine to dash and column. But I want to know if this will be as bolt in as a 2.9 to a 4.0l?

Definitely not as easy as going from a 2.9 to a 4.0, but it shouldn't be a difficult swap.
The 3.0 and 4.0 share nothing, so everything that touches the engine would have to be replaced with 4.0 stuff. That includes wiring, PCM, transmission, exhaust, etc.
