There is nothing too it. However, you need to have a plan on what to do with the roof line and cut lines. I am thinking about taking so 1/2 conduit pipe and finishing the cut line with it. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.

An easy trick to the roof cut lines is to cut the interior side a bit shorter than the exterior metal then cut slits in strategic places to make tabs in the metal and fold them in over the interior that you cut shoter to make a nice clean seam and look somewhat like it was meant to be. Then you can mig weld the seam where tis folded against itself to keep moisture out and prevent rust. ( A common Bronco II issue as it is. ) Quick, easy, and cheap.

Sorry but I have been moving into a new place so the bronc is a little bit "on hold".

Tony - It is a pair Jeep roll bar. They are just tacked into place and bolted in. This is a temporary mockup until I figure how exaclty I want it. I have found a place that will make a hoop out of .175 tube.

Boggin - I have it covered with a tarp right now :yahoo: I am going for the rhyno lining once I have everything done. I still need to relocate the brake control to the driverside firewall. It is not a daily driver - yet.

Back to working on the Bronc. Anyone know if it is cheaper to rebuild an engine (2.9L) and tranny (18 bolt 4ALD) or to buy a reman?

Been awhile since I have had a chance to update the build but had to take a little trip, er well a long trip. While I was gone, rebuilt tranny, new starter, a little body work and a quite beefy roll bar from a buddy. It is taller than the bronc but will become the back of a cargo cage on top.
